If you want to feel more grounded in love, surround yourself with beautiful art that brings you back to your love story every day

Imagine This…

On your one-year wedding anniversary, you gaze at a painting of your wedding bouquet on your bedroom wall - each petal a caress, each leaf a kiss, filling the room with memories of your love story. The painting is more than a beautiful work of art; it's a reminder of your devotion to each other.

As the years unfold, it bears silent witness to laughter, challenges, and the everyday moments that weave together your endless love story. Created to last for generations, this painting becomes a treasured heirloom that inspires a deep feeling of enduring love in your children and grandchildren.

Painting Process

A custom work of art is called a commission. The process of commissioning an original work of art created especially for you by a skilled artist is a truly special experience, where your vision comes to life through the artist's unique skills and creative interpretation.

Commissioning a custom oil painting of your wedding bouquet is a lasting and heartfelt way to preserve the beauty and memories of your love story for years to come.

As a classically trained oil painter specializing in botanical artworks, I strive to blend realism and painterly expression in every painting. Every piece features exquisite brushwork that captures the essence of mother nature’s leaves and petals, ensuring that your wedding bouquet is immortalized with breathtaking detail and beauty.

Oil paintings are uniquely beautiful for the richness of the colors they possess, as the layers of pigment blend seamlessly to create a depth that captivates the viewer. Each brushstroke adds a new dimension to the artwork, bringing your bouquet back to life in a way that is both timeless and enchanting.

Every piece is hand painted by me, Emmalyn Marie, in my studio in California, with deep love and gratitude for this work.

Photography Process

The painting process all starts with high-quality photographs that capture the intricate details and essence of your cherished bouquet, ensuring that every petal and color nuance is faithfully recreated in the final artwork.

If you are planning your wedding, then I will work directly with your photographer before your big day to coordinate the details for the photos of the bouquet. I will request a series of close up shots of the bouquet be taken and sent to me unedited, as soon as possible after your wedding. This way, we will not have to wait for all of your wedding photos to be edited before I can start your painting.

If you have already had your wedding day, then you simply need to send me the wedding photos that you have of your bouquet for us to get started! Ideally, the photos will be close up shots of the whole bouquet, but we can always work with what you have, as long the images are high resolution.

Artwork Timeline

Due to the nature of working with oil paint and it’s slower drying times, the timeframe for creating a custom oil painting is anywhere from 2-4 months, based on the size of the painting. Smaller pieces can be completed in 2 months, while large pieces will need up to 4 months.

I only accept a limited number of custom paintings per year, divided into four production timelines that reflect the four seasons of mother nature.

Which season you fall into will simply depend on when your wedding day is or if your wedding has already happened, it will depend on what my schedule looks like when you reach out to me. I will add you to my books for the soonest available space. With custom work, I can book out up to 2 years in advance, so it’s never too soon to reach out to me to secure your place!

It is also never too late to reach out, unless you see a notice on this page that says my books are closed, I am always accepting new orders.

Payment Options

Payment in full is required before I deliver or ship the finished artwork to you, however I offer 3 different options for to make your investment work for your lifestyle and budget.

Payment Plans

3, 6 or 12 month payment plans are highly encouraged and welcome! This option helps to spread your investment out over time, making this once in a lifetime work of art feel possible. This option works best for larger paintings, however it is welcome for all sizes.

Half & Half

The most traditional way to pay for a commissioned painting is a 50% downpayment at the start of the painting and 50% once the painting is finished. I offer this option to those who would like to spilt up their investment, without wanting to commit to a payment plan.

Pay in Full

Payment in full at the start of the painting is also welcome. This option is best for smaller paintings, but is welcome for all sizes.

I accept almost all forms of payment, including credit cards, wire transfers via paypal, venmo, or zelle, check or cash (in person only).
