Letting my heart lead me on a creative journey.
I have been an oil painter for 15 years and in that time I’ve created thousands of artworks. Many of these were mere exercises to learn technique, while others marked milestones in my journey of skill and mastery. The collections I am sharing with you below are a summary of my explorations over the years. On this page, you’ll go back in time 10 years to see my Inspiring Love collection, my celebrated senior thesis from art school. You’ll see how my Into the Jungle collection from a few years back laid the groundwork for the paintings I am making now. You’ll notice that I broke away from my leafy obsession to paint some small florals recently in my Forever Blooming collection and that I have always been drawn to painting nature scapes from my travels in my From Here to There series.

We are always blooming, becoming more beautiful and wise each day. We need not be perfect, but ourselves, making mistakes and connecting with each other and Mother Nature. This collection holds all of my feelings from the past year, as I’ve done extensive self-reflection and made space for personal growth. I hope it speaks to you, wherever you are on your journey.
The Understory

Inspired by the plants you see on the side of the trail and my many travels through natures various landscapes while RVing across the US and Canada. Each painting represents a season of the year. In a world filled with constant noise and distractions, a gentle whisper beckons us to return to home to nature. In the depths of fabled forests, both our outer and inner worlds can quiet down enough for us to notice what our heart is telling us. Our inner wisdom can be heard as we walk through the understory, telling us we don’t have to change who we are, we have to be who we are. As we deepen our connection to the earth, we find ourselves returning to our true nature. Allow mother nature to be your touch tree to guide you home to yourself.

The boldness and beauty of overlapping leaves strike powerful images in this series of plant portraits. From afar, the leaves can all look the same, but under close study we see they all have their unique way of being in the world. Just like everything that lives and breathes and dies.
From Here to There

A series of landscapes from around the world. I hope you find yourself immersed in these settings. Maybe they will remind you of places you’ve been or make you excited about places you’re going. These pieces inspire a deep connection to nature and instill in us a sense of wonder and respect for our natural world, as we travel far and wide to admire her beauty.
