INSPIRATION FOR MY ARTWORK
The years I spent training to be a painter also taught me to notice the beauty in everything. The truth is, when you take the time to look at something long enough, you will see how beautiful it really is. Take it from someone who have spent hundreds of hours looking at people and painting them, looking at landscapes and painting them, looking at ordinary everyday objects and painting them. Everything has beauty.
Put simply, life is beautiful, but so many people are too busy to notice. That is the purpose of my ART. To give you a reason to pause and notice BEAUTY, where you didn’t see it before.
It’s my hope that after you see my paintings of these common plants and flowers that every time you see them in nature, they dazzle your eyes and you begin to see all the ways they shine. The way the light glows through their leaves, or the shapes they make as they blow in the wind. If you take the time to see it, beauty will always be right in front of you.
