Custom printed on white matte card stock, each greeting card comes with a white envelope and a blank interior. Rectangle cards are 5 x7 inches and come with matching rectangle envelopes. The artwork on the cards are reproductions of my original oil paintings, 4 square paintings and 4 rectangular paintings. Each pack of 4 comes with one of each artwork. You will receive multiple of each artwork when you order 8 or 12 cards.

INSPIRATION FOR “SAY IT WITH LOVE” GREETING CARDS

I have a shoe box full of letters and handwritten notes from people I love. This box of words is amongst my most treasured possessions, love letters from friends and family from over the years that tell the story of my life through their eyes.

My friend Jerry was the first person to write me letters. He was around 90 years old when we met and after a few dinners at his house, I easily felt like he and his wife Barbara were family. Jerry was a writer, and even in his 90s he wrote a weekly column for our town's newspaper. He wrote me dozens of letters over the years of our friendship. His words always encouraging me, giving advice and expressing love. When I left the country to live in Italy at age 20, I asked my family to write me letters so I could bring their love with me. Before leaving Italy, I gave my friends blank cards and asked them to write me love letters as goodbye gifts. After meeting my husband Rob, it was clear we both loved writing, so the foundation of our relationship was built on love letters, writing to each other everyday for months. As an adult, I started a relationship with a new girlfriend on the premise of being pen pals, since we didn't live in the same state. Our entire relationship is built on letters.

All of this to say, I am a BIG fan of love letters. I truly believe the most meaningful gift we can give to each other is the honest expression of how much we value and love one another. So order some greeting cards, grab a pen, and write down what's in your heart. Because there is no better feeling in this world than writing a love letter…. except perhaps reading a love letter. So go ahead and say it with love.
